Mission

As part of Texas A&M AgriLife Research, the Texas A&M Institute for Genomic Medicine (TIGM) strives to catalyze translational biomedical innovation by integrating advanced model systems, genome engineering, emerging technologies, and scientific partnerships to accelerate discoveries from bench to application. Through institutional partnerships and external collaborations, TIGM supports Texas A&M University, researchers throughout the State of Texas, and the global scientific community.

Vision

Advancing human and animal health through innovative, predictive, ethically responsible models of disease while supporting the development of human-relevant systems that bridge discovery and application, improve translational outcomes, and support the scientifically appropriate reduction of animal research.
